Description
The PPK Phantom Battery Add-on for Phantom4 Pro is an adapter system that allows you to keep the Emlid Reach M2 or M+ GNSS receiver on when exchanging the batteries of your Drone.
When preparing our flight missions, either with DJI Ground Station Pro / Dronedeploy / PiX4D or others, the application calculates the amount of batteries to use to successfully fulfill our plan. When we do relatively small projects, we can say that it is good to download the UBX file first before exchanging batteries.
When we talk about flights from 04 batteries onwards, the figure changes. This is where the Battery Add-on fulfills its main task: Keep (not turn on) the Reach M2/M+ on for no more than 8 minutes so that the drone operator can swap the batteries of his Phantom4. This allows to have a good workflow and not having multiple UBX files for post-processing.
