LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) is a technology that allows measuring the distance between a sensor and an object, through a laser light beam to obtain georeferenced positioning measurements by means of highly accurate three-dimensional digital models.

STATIONARY TERRESTRIAL LIDAR:

The Lidar is installed on a tripod and obtains information from areas of limited size such as buildings or slopes, which allows a high accuracy in data acquisition.

This technique is ideal for:

  • 3D modeling of constructions.
  • Infrastructure Inventory.
  • Calculation of structural dimensions.
  • Digitization of environments.

AIRBORNE LIDAR

The Lidar system is installed on an unmanned vehicle: drone or airplane that allows the capture and modeling of large areas of terrain.

This technique is ideal for:

  • DTM (Digital Terrain Model), DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and DSM (Digital Surface Model) generation.
  • Contour Line Generation.
  • Orthorectification of Photographs.

LIDAR ROVER

The data obtained by the system on board a moving vehicle, in the form of clouds of millions of points and optical images, allow to obtain detailed lateral, upper and lower ground surfaces, determining the shapes and three-dimensional locations of all elements such as roads, trees, buildings, service infrastructure and much more. Additionally, it is possible to observe descriptive and visual elements such as signs, nomenclature and their state of deterioration or conservation.
